A collection of book themed illustrations, created throughout the past 5-7 years.
Books have always been a very interesting and meaningful subject for me to draw. As an avid reader I wanted to convey within these pieces, how one feels when reading. How it is to visit otherworldly, imaginary places without having to actually travel.
In the end words turn into images and images turn into visual magic.
All drawings featured below are mixed media artworks. Created with with pens, inks, gouache and acrylic paint on various smooth and handmade papers.
