Welcome to Lynchburg Music Center. Lynchburg Music Center is a family business located in Lynchburg, Virginia. They take pride in serving the residents of Lynchburg in all their musical needs. They offer quality instruments to rent or purchase. In addition, they have an education department where a variety of music lessons are offered. I was assigned to modernize the company with a complete rebrand.
The main logo features an abbreviated name of the business, hidden in the LYH. are volume bar icons to further communicate the companies mission. I re-arranged the main logo to create the secondary, and pulled elements from both to create the icons. I kept the color palette limited to continue to help modernize the brand. The patterns feature fun, modern geometric shapes. Red represents passion, and energy. Yellow brings out feelings of creativity and happiness. Finally, green represents quality which is important for a company that sells products.
The identity package utilates both patterns to add interest, along with the volume bar icon.
To coincide with the brand, I researched the collateral that would be the best fit. I decided on a flyer, a notebook for students to take notes in during music lessons and button pins for guests to keep as a complementary, in hopes they could pin to their bags or jackets. I also included social media pages, and what the Lynchburg Music Center storefront could look like updated. I made use of all my logos and icons in this process.
