Mischief is a venture capital firm for founders willing to think outside the box, backed by three successful founders themselves.

In a nod to their name, spirit, and target audience, we created a brand that stood out as much as the people who started it. The Mischief brand is whimsy, quirky, and unexpected. Most of all, it's meant to mirror the fun, crazy, anxiety-inducing, and rewarding ride that comes with building a business.

The custom Mischief logotype is confident, bold, and timeless. It's the perfect balance to the dynamic imagery and environment found in various applications.​​​​​​​
We created a dynamic 'M' mark that is constantly changing and in motion, mimicking the fluid process founders find themselves in.
We enhanced the mischievous characteristic through the blending of familiar graphical motifs into new and absurd dimensions.
Mischief's tone of voice and personality was shaped by the people who started the firm. It's confident, ambitious, and even bordering on crazy. The voice has big goals, and isn't afraid of sharing them. Also, if you're not willing to get a little creative and weird, you're probably at the wrong VC.
