Now you can't celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth without the first black American to win an Oscar, Mrs. Hattie McDaniel for her controversial role as Mammy in Gone With The Wind in 1939.

Controversial or not, her acceptance speech showed her personal excellence as an actor and is quite endearing to watch.
