BACKGORUND
Many elderly people around the world are suffering from dementia. They are making great efforts to prevent dementia or slow the progression. Currently, various treatments are provided for dementia patients, but I wanted to help dementia patients through a new type of horticultural treatment.
전 세계적으로 많은 노인들이 치매로 고통을 받고 있습니다. 치매를 예방하거나 진행을 늦추기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있습니다. 현재 치매환자를 위한 다양한 치료법이 제공되고 있지만, 저는 새로운 형태의 원예치료를 통해 치매환자를 위한 제품을 디자인하고자 하였습니다.
CONCEPT
plan.t is a new product with the meaning of planning you tomorrow. As a product that grows memories with plants, you can record the process of plant growth with your voice and improve memory along with plant growth.
plan.t는 당신을 내일 계획한다는 의미를 가진 신제품입니다. 식물과의 추억을 키우는 상품으로 식물의 성장과정을 음성으로 녹음할 수 있고 식물의 성장과 함께 기억력도 향상을 기대할 수 있습니다.
PROCESS
Dementia can be prevented or delayed by recording the process of growing or changing a plant while growing it, and repeating the process of growing it again to grow the plant and memory together.
치매 환자들은 식물을 키우면서 식물이 성장하거나 변화되는 과정을 기록하고, 다시 키우는 과정을 반복하여 식물과 기억을 함께 성장시키며 치매 예방이나 지연이 가능합니다.
