NFT Collection inspired by 2022 Color of the Year PANTONE® 17-3938 Very Peri
Pantone collaborated with eco-friendly blockchain, Tezos, and Paris-based multidisciplinary artist Polygon1993, to drop first-ever collection of nine unique NFTs inspired by the 2022 Color of the Year PANTONE® 17-3938 Very Peri.
The art pieces were showcased during the Color Of The Year event at ARTECHOUSE in New York in December 2021.
Featuring a digital glitch art style, the purple-hued artwork was created using a combination of techniques that involve analog cameras and digital tools. The intent is to create motion-based still imagery, which is called circuit bending. From a woman’s face to hands reaching into the unknown, Polygon1933’s style harbors a moody three-dimensional aesthetic.
On March 9th, 10.000 NFTs were claimed in less than 30 minutes to celebrate the new Color The Year 2022. Four additional and exclusive NFTs were distributed at SXSW 2022 at the Tezos exhibition in Austin to reward the collectors who came to visit and learn more about Tezos blockchain.
