ACC improves cardiovascular health by incorporating patient voices and clinical perspectives. In collaboration with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), ACC launched an industry framework initiative, “Best Practices for Consumer Cardiovascular Technology Solutions,” that evaluated consumer applications and devices for cardiovascular health. In the initiative, both ACC and CTA helped leaders in the health and technology industry adopt standards for cardiovascular technology developers. The goal of the initiative is to help more patients access quality cardiovascular care.
