In 2020 I and four other creatives were asked to propose a concept for a floodwall being constructed in Kensington, Melbourne. The proposal was ulitmately unused but a worthwhile exercise. I wanted to incorporate the natural colour and texture of the underlying concrete wall as part of the artwork, and be mindful of the parks nearby.
