Storix is an SDK-solution for mobile applications the main functions of which are to increase retention, volume of purchases and prolongation of subscriptions.

The goal of this project is creation of a stylized 2D video explainer which would unravel full potential and utilization methods of this product. For this purpose I have conducted market analysis of comparable SDK-solutions and interviews with potential users during which some main directions were jointly identified and used as a foundation for the video among which:

- Possibility to upload photos/videos/gifs

- Gamification and motivation systems

- Ability to trace reaction of users via direct communication

- Analytics center and personal account

Design evolution.

This project took me 3 months worth of work. As a result my design evolved to a next level. I wanted to get unique abstract compositions to go away from a standard type of framing. So I have stopped at block structure with a low detail UI, because initially I have started with standard compositions in frontal perspective. They were overloaded, disproportionate, without a single style and looked terrible.

Approach to work on the project.

During a working process I strayed from my storyboard to simplification and greater functionalization of my abstract compositions. I attempted to make every frame as a finished composition, I really wanted to make them flow from one to another. In the first place I have focused on a combination of a low detail UI and elements of character animation, generally adhere to minimalism. Visually I wanted to produce a cartoonish combination of 2D and 3D. By the end of the project I have decided to try something new, specifically texture stylization, where paper, wood and tropic leaves were taken as a base.
