Political Correctness Fixer

Political Correctness Fixer
Speculative Design Project exploring the complexities of human interaction.

This provocative object is a personal exploration of the complexities of human communications, cancel culture and the increasing divide between generations around politics, race, war and other "unpleasant" topics. The project has sparked conversations about pluriversality, ethics, moral, diversity and inclusion.

Process:
- Gathering of signals that help inform the project
- Formulation of concept
- Sketching initial ideas and iterations of design
- Modeling of headset in Rhino
- 3D printing
- Iterating over initial headset and adding "Visual Corrector piece"
- Building final object by putting together 3D printing objects, real safety glasses and deconstructed headphone headset.
- Photoshot
- Graphic Design
- Exhibition

This project was part of the Speculative Design Studio at Parsons School of Design with professors Elliot Montgomery and Radha Mistry.
