KITCHEN LAB 4 KIDS
Kitchen Lab 4 Kids (K4K) is an Erasmus+ project aimed at students, educators and parents who wish to bring children (3-5) closer to scientific subjects, connecting them to the experience of cooking through a playful experience.
The project has selected, ordered, described and evaluated over 300 resources available in different languages (Italian, English, Polish, Spanish, Catalan and Irish) to bring children closer to STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through simple experiments that can be carried out in the kitchen.

The use of active learning processes are also aimed at stimulating the acquisition of important transversal skills such as observation skills or problem solving.

Kitchen Lab 4 Kids (K4K) è un progetto Erasmus+ che si rivolge a studenti, educatori e genitori che desiderano avvicinare i bambini (età 3-5) alle materie scientifiche, collegandole ludicamente all’esperienza della cucina.
Il progetto ha selezionato, ordinato, descritto e valutato oltre 300 risorse disponibili in diverse lingue (italiano, inglese, polacco, spagnolo, catalano e irlandese) per avvicinare, tramite semplici esperimenti da svolgere in cucina, i bambini alle competenze STEM (Scienza, Tecnologia, Ingegneria e Matematica).

L'utilizzo di processi di apprendimento attivo sono volti inoltre a stimolare l’acquisizione di importanti competenze trasversali quali la capacità di osservazione o il problem solving.
Activities performed:
- Creation of the whole graphics starting from the existing logo; creation of icons, infographics, motion graphic animations;
- Design and development of the website in Wordpress with a high level of customization and implementation. The overall style is attractive, playful, vibrant, user friendly;
- Development of an interactive mini-game with H5P;
- Interactive toolkit created with Articulate Rise to present the results of the project.

Fasi del progetto:
- Realizzazione dell'impianto grafico a partire dal logo preesistente; realizzazione di icone, infografiche, video di grafica animata;
- Progettazione e realizzazione in Wordpress del sito web con alto livello di customizzazione e implementazione. Lo stile generale di presenta come attraente, giocoso, vivace, user friendly;
- Sviluppo di un mini-gioco interattivo con H5P;
- Toolkit interattivo realizzato con Articulate Rise per presentare i risultati del progetto.
