Pictures from my first attempt at Photojournalism. There happen to be several power loom factories close to my college here in Bengaluru (2022), full of machines that produce silk sarees on the daily. The Weavers community is an integral part of this town but one that is not talked about enough. The workers are sidelined from society as most of them happen to be migrants simply trying to find work. After interacting with the factory owners and workers for over a month, I discovered that these men toil for fifteen hours a day earning a mere four hundred rupees after their extensive efforts they put in.
