This watercolor is based on photos of a band of recently-fledged wild turkey siblings that I took while hiking. I started this painting in October, 2013, with the hopes of submitting it for the 46 Million Turkeys art show in November 2013. I didn't make the deadline, but "Young Ones" went on to join the project (http://46millionturkeys.com/about/) in 2015.
