Mezzotint is a drypoint method, which can be categorized within the Intaglio family of fine art printmaking. It essentially involves grounding a copper plate, drawing or carving out an image, then inking and printing the plate on fine art paper. These can also be seen at Davidson Gallery in Seattle, WA.
