Jay Chao, the producer of Su Chili Crisp, has been working on additional flavors since 2019, when Yun Hai swapped notes over lunch in Taipei and passed along customer requests for a non-tingly version and something a bit spicier. 與雲海的相遇是在2021年的春天，當時雲海僅是個剛發芽的點子，它本是一個位在紐約的全職設計師的副業，在執行這次辣醬包裝的幾個月內，主理人Lisa辭去了原本穩定的設計工作，轉而全職投入雲海。就這樣，從一封包裝設計的委託信，短短的幾個月，原本的委託關係，轉化成了信任的夥伴、朋友。
雲海的初衷在於將台灣的特有的料理文化，透過優質的食材、醬料傳遞給美國人，所有在雲海平台上看見的商品，都是僅僅4人的小團隊主動扶植台灣匠藝、傳統小農所做的行銷、外銷。雲海目標是將台灣的文化用有個性的美食，在美國帶來一股新的風氣，並形成一定的影響力，同時也提供那些異鄉人一些能夠回味家鄉的食材、佐料。
這款特別為了外銷而重新設計的「甦SU」的香麻辣油系列包裝，我們僅僅是重整了原本包裝上應該被注意的重點，將所有資訊放在恰如其分的位置，雲海更追求忠於食材本身氣質的包裝，就像這個它，什麼都能配，稀飯、炒菜、水餃、麵線、甚至義大利麵，然後配什麼都不會錯。它沒有驚人的配方，有的是扎實的用料、合適的辣麻比例，只要加一點，不論什麼菜都會想讓人多扒幾口。好像每個家庭必備的一罐佐料，我們負責將這樣的平凡，扎實的傳達給所有的消費者。

The Mala flavor is the original Su Chili Crisp. No changes except the packaging. This is the one with the tingly Sichuan peppercorns that's been our bestseller for the past three years. The Cilantro flavor is a fresh take on chili crisp, incorporating a quintessential Taiwanese ingredient into the mix. The flavor of cilantro mellows out as it cooks with garlic and onion, creating a surprising herbal note. It's perfect for spicing up milder flavors without overpowering them—think chicken and corn soup or congee. This is non tingly with the same spice level as the original. Five Spice is a bold, classic Chinese flavor profile, and this one is extra spicy. It's got a distinct lu wei 滷味 flavor featuring cinnamon, cumin, coriander, cloves, star anise, and parsley. Delicious with more strongly flavored dishes like beef noodle soup, braised pork belly or three cup chicken.
