Welcome to Egypt - DESKTOPOGRAPHY EXIBITHION 2013

Welcome to Egypt

The work represent the natural cycle of life, where Anubis God in the Ancient Egypt symbolize the end.
Anubis was a funerary god. His task came to be holding the scales on which the heart was weighed. If the heart was lighter than a feather, the dead would be led by Anubis to Osiris. If heavier, the soul would be destroyed.
The Egyptian, maybe, was the first naturalists all around the World. They respected the seasons, took advantage of the nile, wrote on papyrus, built great structures, they observed deeply interior life.
So, I drew this work inspired by the Ancient and Sacred Egyptian culture, which gave the foundation to the modern society.

About the project of Desktopography

At their best, desktop wallpapers bring animation to often lifeless computer screens, reflecting the personality of the user and acting as a calling card for creative talent. The Desktopography project arrived in 2005 as a place to download nature / topological themed wallpapers with edits from selected designers. Designers spend about 90% of their waking life in front of a computer so the most appealing genre for a wallpaper would be one that has beautiful design mixed with the all important aspect of being outdoors.

Ever since its conception, Desktopography has been a non–profit, fun project and we would encourage you to share this site with family, friends and people you know, there is something here for everyone not just designers. All of the wallpapers here can be downloaded in a variety of sizes.

For the designer, creating wallpapers is a great way to perfect your craft and create images specifically for different environments from desktops and laptops to mobile phones and MP3 players. What we see everyday can affect our mood and state of mind, enhance your desktop with a wallpaper creation from Desktopography and feel the essence of nature and the outdoor existence on your computer. Bring tranquility to your desktop, feel the wilderness and give your background a breath of fresh air…
