Outward Bound encourages more than 150,000 people a year in 33 countries around the world to step out of their comfort zones and experience unique and eye-opening journeys in nature. We apply the methodology of outdoor experiential learning. Through expeditions designed for children, families, young people or adults, we promote the discovery of people's true potential. Since the founding of Outward Bound in 1941, we've believed that there's more to each of us than we imagine – and a transformative, well-conducted experience in nature can show us what we're really capable of. When we find out, we no longer settle for less.

The Bounders community - children, youth and adults who participated in an Outward Bound program - aims to connect and create a strong sense of belonging of people who have had a transformative experience in nature and who, in turn, have discovered the real potential in each one of us.
