A teacher asked me to design a concept of electric vehicle charging station for TOTAL. I had to think about the message that Total want to send to their clients. I wanted to do something different from the classic green branding.

I took my inspiration from the lounge of airlines companies. Clients have to wait for 20 minutes to charge their vehicle. So I thought of ways to make them win back the time they lose.
I named my brand VIE (very important energy, the acronym means life in French) and I placed the human in the center.
I liked working on the architecture of the building, to think at the central part of the circular station. I wanted a very luminous interior, with a skylight and a tree in the center. It was my way to make a green interior different from the wood and green standards.
There are fake shelves, the client can scan products while he is waiting. The products will be prepared and delivered at home when he will go back. Waiting for his electric car to be recharged is no more shameful, now the client feels like a VIP.
