My creative director really had the vision for this project. She wanted to give the girls a complete style makeover which included fully articulated bodies, young, fun, vibrant fashions and even crazy expressions to really bring these characters to life. It was a totally original concept. She's good at those. :)

I sculpted this ZBrush model and sent it off to HK where they added joints and refined the proportions.

It came out a bit too skinny in my opinion. Sorry kiddies.

 

The heads were sculpted separately by the incredible Mrs. Margaret Leahy.

This was the first project assigned to me when I was given the position at Disney Consumer Products back in 2011 and I couldn't have been more excited! It gained a lot of momentum throughout all divisions including Disney Toon Studios, Disney Animation Studios, Disney Channel and Fashion and Home. I worked very closely with my manager and the creative team over at Disney Toon Studios. What a thrill it was to work with you guys!
