The Manliest Men in the world - Bronies
Bronies are the adult male fan of the television series
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Although the show was intended for young girls, the show also
attracted adult men- who later called themselves Bronies.
Bronies are predominantly men from the age of 15- 35.
However, many Bronies are female, trans, or non-binary,
or in a committed relationship.
'The Manliest Men in the world' are a set of illustrations that
celebrates Bronies as the men who successfully defied
conventional masculinity.
Men are often seen as tough and cool and not likely to express their
emotions. However, the Brony fandom allows them to feel more vulnerable.
They are allowed to express themselves without fearing that someone will
judge them.
I chose a cartoon like illustration since the show they are enthusiastic
about is also a cartoon and the Bronies would love to see themselves
animated in that form.
