This tape is the documentation of the only Liles/Maniac concert organized so far. Although Andrew Liles and Maniac have been collaborating on multiple projects and have found themselves on the same stage on several occasions, the opportunity to put the spotlight on the Liles/Maniac project had not yet arisen.
Back in 2019 Archaeological Records commissioned the duo to create an ideal soundtrack for Christophe Szapjdel's photographic exhibition, which we titled "Darkening Ligne Claire": the result were seven haunting tracks that, together with Szpajdel's images, would later become Archaeological Records' debut release [AR.R.01].
The concert they held on the occasion of the vernissage of the exhibition, set up during the eighth edition of the Dio Drone Festival, was anything but the mere performance of the album (which was actually not played at all): it have been a wild and dark aggression, a sonic attack worthy of memory...

'Fearenze' by Liles/Maniac is a live recording that comes as an audio-cassette that Archaeological Records released as a limited edition of 12 art boxes. The art boxes contain a bundle of a hand-tailored black linen t-shirt with white silk screen printing and the cassette.
The artwork of the cassette consists in original lettering by Christophe Szpajdel, inlay photos by Massimo Impavido Pistolesi, and graphic design by Naresh Ran. The silk screen design for the t-shirt is by Christophe Szpajdel, while the fashion design is by AR. The packaging is hand painted and assembled by AR.
