This illustration is when the girl enters the cemetery and goes inside the abandoned house. I darkened the tombstones as a silhouette to give the illusion that you are looking at the house from a distance.  

This is the bedroom where the girl wanders around the house and came across the spacious room. The cemetery and bedroom were created using Procreate then edited on Photoshop to enhance the gothic aesthetic I was going for when I produced the animation.  The artwork on the walls were my previous illustrations I worked on over the past year.  

For this scene, I used the saber effect to create a ghost filter on the girl when saw a version of herself lying on the bedroom floor. In the end, she slowly fades away towards the afterlife. Also, I incorporated the mist effect to bring more depth to the scene. 

  

For this scene when the girl enters the cemetery, I decreased the glow that was reflecting on the moon to make it less intense and give the character a direct source of light using the ramp tool on After Effects. Also, I increased the opacity of the backdrop to see what is happening in the scene and included a misty fog layer to make it more of a dreamy sequence. 

For the title screen, I found a stock photo of a graveyard and overlaid it with the flare tool on Premiere Pro to give the illusion that the sun is reflecting on the tombstones. I chose a purple backdrop to keep the consistency of the animation. The story was inspired by Billie Eilish's single, 'Six Feet Under'. It is centered around a girl wandering around a cemetery until she came across a house where she grew up in. She enters the house, when she headed to her childhood bedroom, she came across a version of herself unconscious on the floor. She realised she passed away in the house and her spirit gradually started to fade away into the afterlife. 

This is the storyboard I constructed for the animated video. I had the idea that the character is in a dream state wearing a dark, yet colourful gown and came across this abandoned house that was located in the cemetery. However, when she entered inside of the house and headed upstairs to realise it was her childhood home after she looked around the child-like bedroom with art displayed on the walls and glowing fairy lights hanging behind the frame of the bed.
