Once a year, the delight is had
It's Halloween, adults get to be bad
In facy dress, they act the fool
As ghosts, beasties and all manner of ghoul
Some funny, some scary, some downright absurd
(Remind me to tell you of the guy once dressed as a turd)
Alas, it is that time again and truth be told
Each year gets more attention with decorations so bold
To add to the creepshow that is the circus of freaks
This year we add Puppet Master to elicit the shrieks
And what wouldn't be more creepy than a dilapidated ghost carousel
Skeletons, coffins and spider webs covering it all
Lights, camera, action - it's time for the show
Each year we add projects that grow and grow...
But of course, how could we forget, to top it all off well
The bonfire, the costumes - of the party I tell
Again, bring your favorite dish, something of the culinary delight
To pass around and share on this night of all nights
Devl's balls, eye of newt, wtiches flatulence - a powerful brew
Something to entice the tapeworm in all of you
So come prepared, come costumed, come ready to mingle
The musics hot, the costume contest is on, RSVP here be you couple or single.
Bring a friend, bring a date, bring something to drink or eat
Aduts only shenanigans make this once a year night complete!
