The YouthWing of Nritarutya, Indian Contemporary Dance Company is a band of young dancers combining Indian aesthetics with a contemporary vocabulary.
We generated a dataset using the ‘Netvizz’ API of Facebook for the above facebook page, and retrieved information of 143 users. It took into consideration 20 posts and the edges were created based on the likes and comments on the posts considering all the members of the page as nodes. The API gave us the dataset in the form of a gdf file with 162 nodes and 251 edges.
Left : Initial graph obtained by Gephi.
Right : Modularity and partition was applied to obtain the colourful graph. This is designed to measure the strength of division of a network into modules. Here, the different modules are the different posts.
Left : Application of Eigenvector Centrality returned the nodes that are most central in the network.

Results of Analysis :
The graph obtained iterates several important results.
From a company’s perspective :
> Can identify the posts that are more popular – In our graph, it was seen that a picture of a performance was more popular than a post containing quote.> Can gauge the relevance of the page and the posts it contains.
From a third party’s perspective :
> Can gauge the popularity of a company based on the level of activity on a post of interest.
