This short film was the result of an exercise called 'Art as Inspiration', carried out as part of my master's degree Film Practice in Arts University Bournemouth. The objective of this exercise was to take one or more pictorical references and insert them in a short film written, produced and directed by me. 

In the research process I realised that in paintings it is difficult to describe the relationship between two people appearing in it as friendship, since most of the gestures are taken to the 'romantic' or 'sexual' realm by the viewer instead. In this piece, I wanted to explore the physicality of friendship. 

I do not own the rights to the song 'Catalina' by Rosalía, but we were allowed to use any music for educational purposes.
