I first met Slava at a coffee shop, La Petite Cuillure during a summer morning. We were seated outside and as we commenced our lesson in photography. It was quite exceptional to see how much of what I said was absorbed by him. An Engineer by training and a businessman by profession, his work ethic and intelligence has often pushed him above and beyond what was necessary. We went through the cycle of learning and betterment until that moment when he had finally pushed himself to reach a mark of professionalism.

 

Like everyone in photography or perhaps any other field of art, the journey obviously continues and there is all the more to capture but milestones are necessary for progress and this particular session could possibly be highlighted as one.
