A little passion project of mine. A film poster for The Batman. I wanted to encapsulate the dark, realistic gritty feel of the movie. So I stuck with the now iconic red and black theme, using layers upon layers to create this piece. Symbolising the layers of issues the protagonist goes throughout the film. With the storyline very much making batman question his motives, his morals.
The white text you see behind the batman is inspired by the Riddler. Who would often include ciphers in his clues. The highlighted letters read out "to the Batman". The same message on the envelopes delivered to the Batman by the Riddler.
