When human weaponry is no match for the alien invasion’s advanced technology, stone beings rise from the Earth to defend it. This is the concept for a potential comic, TV show, or video game I’ve been building on for a couple of years. 

I often start sketches on paper and line them with black marker. Then, I scan or photograph the drawings so I can color them in a digital program.
