BLACK MAGIC ANIMATION
Black Magic is a surrealistic comedy horror animation about coffee addiction and caffeine dependency. Using exaggerated, funny and sometimes weird and disturbing visuals, the animation aims to be a fun and memorable reminder for teenagers and young adults to drink coffee and other caffeinated beverages in moderation. Other than coffee addiction, Black Magic also aims to show that anything good can be bad if consumed excessively. Coffee is just an example of how a good thing can end up being a bad thing. POSTER
The poster is minimalistic and straightforward. The minimal style gives a sense of mystery that makes the audience wonder about the project. This may incentivise the audience to find out more about the project by scanning the QR code. The simple poster also juxtaposes and masks the chaotic and busy visuals of the animation.
INSTAGRAM
The Instagram feed consists of 9 posts, some posts with multiple slides. The content varies, and the Instagram acts as a promotional tool, as well as an extension of the story. There are teasers about the animation, more information about coffee, Piko, and his life.
CONCEPT BOARD
The concept board presents all of the deliverables of the project, as well as its purpose, goal, message, target audience and style.
