Welt Antiqua is a revival typeface based on the original Welt Antiqua designed by Hans Wagner between 1931-1934 and published by Ludwig and Mayer shortly after. This revival takes inspiration from the authoritative slab serif terminals and traditional style.
Due to the original typeface being commonly used in Letraset sheets during the 1970s, I produced a small publication based on the history of Letraset and Welt Antiqua's place within it's creative history (see below).
