In the Spring of 2020, restrictions brought about by Covid-19 caused an economic crisis, and small businesses immediately struggled. Teleoperator Telia had set aside plenty of media space for pre-produced advertisements, but when Finland tightened its restrictions, Telia decided to flip conventional advertising and give all of its media space for small businesses’ use. 

The #Together campaign was born and live only six working days after Finland’s lockdown came into force. Small businesses were presented in a targeted way on television, regional newspapers, radio, social media, outdoor advertising, online and other communications. Later on the campaign scaled to a nationwide movement that gave hope to thousands and helped hundreds of small businesses in the midst of a crisis.
