Designing demand in new markets.

Rodd was selected by the Design Council to support UK SMEs through its ‘Designing Demand’ program. Our role was to provide strategic design and development support to Neptune Outdoor Furniture.
 
Neptune, along with their appointed design associate and the team from Rodd, identified the key to revenue growth was the company’s evolution from its traditional product range to the selective introduction of high quality contemporary pieces.
 
Cerro, the first product from the partnership, is a modular seating solution that allowed Neptune to target a more design-led clientele, such as developers, architect/specifier’s, and in turn to grow the margins in the otherwise commoditised product range.
