Branding
One long gallery space, One artist, One performance art spanning 40 years. The challenge was to coherently represent the works in a cohesive presentation. We took inspiration from the yellow boundary lines in public spaces and visualising the entire gallery as a physical timeline. We marked out a middle point of the room and created a yellow line out of masking tape, right through the space, spilling onto the pavement. A long table is constructed to represent the timeline, punctuated by a photocopier that documents each and every visitor’s ID. The yellow line also features prominently across all collaterals designed for the exhibition, like the booklet, posters and brochures.
