I wanted to add this to my blog because Fashion is a big part of art. I compared the fashion of Justinian l and Theodora the rulers of the Byzantine Empire of the time to Dolce and Gabanna 2013. During that time art was a big part of their clothing. It involved elaborate jewelry and headpiece that was embroidered in jewels. Dolce and Gabanna a fashion house took the art of that time period and modernized it and incorporated it into the garments. In the models pictures in the shirt you see a face designed in the blouse. It probably took a lot of time and technology to layout that design and draw to make it resemble. The headpieces are designed like the time period as well. I used Canva to complete this assignment.
