Welcome to my latest work - "in the land of gentleness".
For almost 3 years, I have embarked a long and difficult journey of self-acceptance: constantly building things up and breaking them down, picking up the pieces and rearranging them. But not once did I feel regret. I believe that everything happens for a reason - they are signs from the universe, as people often say. And hence, "in the land of gentleness" was created - to record my life events and reflections in the last few years.
This series of 10 illustrations - based on @luciensus' poem of the same name - is my story of finding solace and peace of mind through others' gentle words. They may just be simple, random words given in different contexts; however, to me, they are much more powerful than any other form of encouragement. Being comforted and nurtured by such kindness has allowed me to grow as a person and as an artist.
