Custom typeface for the Sawabona Club brand. It has a single style, which is designed to fulfill title functions. It is characterized by a stencil and handcrafted appearance generated by the cuts and irregularities of its strokes. The goal it was to explore the relationship between text and texture, thinking about the possibility that typography by itself becomes a visual pattern that supports the different applications of the brand.

Its design is directly related to cultural and urban expressions of the African continent, seeking to rescue their conceptual values and reinterpret them for the local context. The typography was designed for the Colombian fashion context, as an alternative proposal that enhances the Afro-Colombian culture, its roots and its cultural expressions in this country.

The use of typography is intended for print, digital and textile media. It has a set of characters that supports different languages, mainly Spanish and English, and has a series of alternative signs and ligatures that increase its expressive potential.
