1) Bodega Cat

This is the first piece of the series, inspired by cats that hang around in bodegas. I decided to let my creativity wonder with the colors and let it go wherever I was drawn. 

2) Midnight Cat

Cats like heights and like to hang out and watch whats happening around them. This piece, without intending almost gives me Batman vibes where the cat is overlooking the city, keeping a watchful eye out. Too bad cats don't fight crime...Or do they?

3) Angry Cat Loaf

All cat owners have been here. The audacity of cats sometimes. Getting taken care of, and most of the time (at least in my case) extremely spoiled, and still thinks we are in the way! A tribute to all the cat owners out there who know what I am talking about!

4) Car Cat

Keeping with the theme of cats thinking they rule the world, here is car cat. Need this car? Don't think so. It's comfortable. Inspired by Italian cars and architecture. 

5) Alley Cats

Or as I casually call it, Bladerunner cats - my main reference was a street scene from Bladerunner, though loosely used. By far the most time intensive, and rewarding of the CDCS series. I wanted to challenge myself by working painterly - no black outlines, which I really got in the rhythm of. Total time for this was 27.5 hours.
