O nome é uma brincadeira com os nomes desses jornais, assim como com a frase "Botar a boca no trombone", já que esses jornais são conhecidos por matérias sensacionalistas e fofoca, e com o fato de que o "clarim" é um instrumento musical de sopro (assim como o trombone).
[EN] I developed "The Daily Trombone" referencing the "Daily Prophet" from the world of Harry Potter, and the "Daily Bugle" from the Spider-Man comics and movies. The name is a play on the names of these newspapers, as well as with the popular Brazilian phrase "Put your mouth on the trombone" (meaning to reveal a secret or to say something no one else has the courage to), since these newspapers are known for sensationalist articles and gossip, and with the fact that the "bugle" is a wind musical instrument (just like the trombone).
