VANS - Find Your Silliness Campaign

Find your silliness wants to make the audience feel encouraged.
Encouraged to let that inner child free. Not to obey to some social principals but to live without the constant fear of being accepted into a world without judgement. We want the audience to take risks, to be a part of something, to make silly mistakes and enjoy it, to become an artist.
Not just a artist who paints and does cool stuff but an “artist” who isn’t afraid to be themselves and to behave differently to what society sees as normal. Here you can be who and what you want.
To be “Off the Wall”.
KIDS OFF THE WORLD
“Kids off the wall” wants to encourage that inner child that remains in all of us to get out into the world and “play”. We want, in this first step, to make the brand known and to express one of the most important statements of VANS, the feeling of family and community that the brand offers to its consumers. In order to do that, we wanted to celebrate the inner child that, as we grow up is left behind because of the life we choose to live. Here we want that back, and we want you, to share that with the little children and make them know it’s ok to be different and it’s ok to take life in a fun way sometimes.
MAKING ARTISTS OFF THE WORLD
“Making artists off the wall” wants to encourage you to accept your different side and value it. We understand the word artist, as a person who is irreverent, who isn’t afraid to take part of something, and taking good risks for themselves and the community.
In three category’s: art, music and attitude, the contestants can show the audience why they are so different and special, in order to make a statement about how serious you have to be so you can be successful and truly happy.
Work done in partnership with Tayssa Larrubia, Inês Cruz Costa and Ana Clara Silva
