This is a calligraphy work I completed on finishing a course in Ukrainian Skoropys in ArtiYa calligraphy school (Kyiv, Ukraine).
It features a poem by a famous Ukrainian poet Lesia Ukraiinka. The poem is a plea to one's dream. It asks one's dream to stay faithful, to not deceive the dreamer, for he or she ached for the dream for too long. Hands on the sides have fingers crossed - a sign of hope.

These days - and today is the tenth day since Russia waged unjustified war on Ukraine, my homeland, - every Ukrainian has one dream: for Ukraine to win and stay independent.
