Pre-production
The complex of preparations «Asterisk» is intended for the treatment of acute respiratory viral infections and its symptoms, influenza, insect bites and much more. The company asked me to create an advertisement for two products - Asterisk Lor (for sore throat) and Asterisk Broncho (for phlegm). It was clear from the terms of reference that the video should be short and creative. 3D was optional, but I decided to give it a try.
The melody «On the Beautiful Blue Danube» performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra was chosen as the musical accompaniment, сopyrights were bought for it. The words and performance of the female vocal part are mine, the male vocal part is Vladimir Belyaev, sound designer.
Translation of the lyrics from Russian:
I am Asterisk Lor - the sore throat will pass!
I am Asterisk Broncho - the phlegm will go away!
Together we will defeat the disease!

Process
First, I created 3D models of the tubes. Their 2D images weren't quite correct, so I kept referring to the real tubes on my desk to match the smallest details. Then I created a skeleton so they could move. I tried to combine the movements of the tubes with their voices as much as possible, so that everything looked believable. It took a bit of choreography and humor to make it interesting.

Result
The customer was absolutely satisfied and will publish soon the video on their social networks. It took 3 months to work on the video, since I did something similar in the Blender program for the first time. I learned all the knowledge and skills from free video tutorials on YouTube, for which I am very grateful to the Internet :)
