Location: Cairo, Egypt.
Design Problem Ain El Sira is known for having a variety of traditional handicrafts. The products of the craftsmen aren't exhibited properly therefore it doesn't attract enough visitors. 

Stakeholders | Goal of The Project The project aims to raise the social and economic status of the residents and the craftsmen by selling their products, and to give the visitors a cultural experience and introduce them to the crafts of the area.​​​​​​​

Site Analysis
The location of the project lies near the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) and oversees the lake.
The entrance is located on the southeast side to take advantage of the lake view, but it requires special treatments to protect from the sun’s direct light in morning hours.

Public Space | Landscape Plan
- An outdoor entertainment area that serves as an attraction for cultural activities and events, with a green pathway and a seating area in the middle.
- Inspired by the concept of the Arab tent. The design of the floor is based on a grid of hexagonal shapes.
Furniture Inspiration | Colors | Interior Materials
Flooring: Marble and granite are used with Islamic geometric motifs. Porcelain in bathroom floors.
Walls: Islamic geometry and calligraphy decorate the walls. Marble cladding, wooden partitions, and gypsum panels are used in the cladding of  walls.
Furniture: Display units with metal legs & wooden tops and wooden display shelves.

Technological considerations
Interactive screens: to allow visitors to navigate the products and their prices easily.
Interactive wall: It explains the types of crafts, exhibition dates and events, and the prices of products.
