Native American Warriors
«Native American Warriors» is a series of digital illustrations based on the main Native American cultures that inhabited the continent before the Spanish conquest.
Each illustration tries to honor the heritage of the first civilizations that inhabited America, as the beginning of a long history of traditions, cultural, ritual and artistic richness.
Each culture integrates a universe of symbols, deities and its own traditions, which showed me marked differences between them, but at the same time, many interesting similarities.
The series was launched throughout the month of October, being the month of Respect for Cultural Diversity, as a tribute to the native cultures that are part of our history, with total respect for the original peoples that are in the American territory.
The triad of illustrations is ready to be printed in 4-color screen printing in 50x70 cm, with the first one Cuāuhpipiltin already printed. Complete series soon available in house of prints.
