Young&United Packaging

Young&United was funded through Kickstarter at the beginning of 2013. Our primary goal, to deliverer high quality, American-made goods, was complimented by a secondary goal: to create a packaging system to represent our utmost appreciation for our customer's support. We strove to create an artful packaging system that would surprise our customers and add value to their purchase. Upon fulfillment of our initial Kickstarter orders, we were overwhelmed by the feedback and excitement about the product packaging. Our Kickstarter supporters responded by posting their packaging experience to social media outlets with beautiful photos and kind words. Some backers even asked to purchase fresh, unfolded packaging prints to frame in their homes.

Inspired by an American Spirit of optimism, peace, and progress, Young&United's packaging pays respect to the heydays of American Manufacturing. The packaging serves to accentuate the American-made goods within, by exemplifying an equal level of quality and attention to detail. The American spirit lives within every detail of the packaging – from the hand-drawn illustrations on the poster to the final "Thank You" stamp and personal note of appreciation. Additionally, sustainability was of high priority through the design and construction phases. The system materials include single-sided, one color screen prints on recyclable paper. Rubber stamps and water-based ink were utilized to reduce production costs and contribute to the crafted aesthetic. All materials were made in the USA and delivered to our supporters around the world.
