For SS14 I designed and developed the world’s lightest, most versatile synthetic mid layer. Part of the Berghaus Vapourlight collection, this product reset the benchmark for hyper-light performance. Built around a brand new Insulation technology which is highly breathable yet offers market leading warmth to weight, I developed a reversible concept which allows significant temperature differential from side to side. Designed to support the Great Himalyan Trail record attempt by Phillippe Gatta the Vapourlight products I designed have received multiple Industry awards and extensive PR.
