The iPhone/Android app allows users to log their commutes by syncing trips to the online dashboard. Users can earn badges by completing some tasks that involve commitment with the process.
It is a simple, fun way for users to test EV cars prior to buying them, and for BMW to track how people use their vehicles and thus inform their research into the next generation of cars.
