Recycling Fun Factory

The Brief
Within this brief I will be tackling the issue of recycling, a task that is seen as very mundane and boring that not many people find interest in and don’t do simply because of that. I will be seeking a target audience in our youth between the ages of 7-13, and applying a fun way in which they can recycle, a way that will motivate them and encourage them to not only recycle at that moment in time, but always come back to carry on recycling. The end product will be a solution to making boring recycling, a better and much more fun of a task for those who will be willing to give it a shot.
The Idea
I will be making use of a plinko board but re - designing it to make it a fun task for children to start recycling. There will be a poster with rules set up next to the board itself. The aim is to motivate children at home to start recycling their plastic bottles. The way this works is that the children will be required to throw their plastic bottles away in the recycling bin but they have to keep the caps of each bottle they recycle, every Monday they will then play the Plinko board with the collection of caps they have saved while recycling the bottles, the board will then have prizes at the bottom, which will be changed weekly. Wherever the cap lads that will be the child's prize.
