This Bizarre Landscapes video series explores the way the environment affects objects, food products and man-made structures throughout time, using time-lapse video and the constructed still life. I set up objects in the environments and photographed them every two to five minutes, which I later compiled into a time-lapse video. These compressed-time still lifes are staged in a rural environment, so only the weather, insects, and sometimes wildlife would affect them.
For Bizarre Landscape # 9, I constructed a mock interior set upon a rotating stage. This manmade structure turns in the wind and alters the background that is seen through the window. The environment itself dictates what background will be shown.

For Bizarre Landscape # 6, I constructed a mock interior set out in the environment. This manmade structure becomes a barrier which interacts with the wind in a superbly violent manner. The environment itself destroys the still life set.
