Redrawing Black History
At the beginning of 2022, I took part in the online course "Redrawing Black History" by "Make Art that sells", in which the lovely teachers Lilla Rogers and Tamisha Anthony took us on a journey into the past.
I learnt a lot about black women who were so important to the people of that time. I also learned about the feeling of having a different skin colour than white. Despite all the difficulties, these women did not give up to achieve their dreams.
Unfortunately, you don't find anything about such women in the school history books. Yet young girls today need exactly such role models.
Thanks to this course, awareness was raised to not ignore such wonderful women.
