• Spread awareness of the design system within the company through guidance, presentations, and design advocacy
• Support, mentor and provide feedback on work from a variety of product teams (labs) within the organization
• Created a robust Getting started support section, that includes detailed instructions for newly onboarded designers
• Implemented Data visualization & Table guidelines for designers, with job-aids and templates for ease of use
• Spearheaded the creation of a Vendor kit to quickly & easily share high-level digital brand guidelines to 3rd party vendors
• Conceive and deliver accessible components, patterns and icons
• Rapidly iterate on designs amongst technology and design constraints
• Write company-wide design system documentation
• Upkeep of the design system & icon Sketch libraries
• Creation of job-aids where required to assist & gain team understanding of processes
• Troubleshoot and help resolve any items that arise, such as AODA issues or bugs
• Have begun to create foundational elements and components for Canada Life - Mobile Design System
